The new RAILBOX XT series was designed and engineered thanks to the experience made on the RAILBOX VERTICAL series and to the great success and number of different applications that we have been able to satisfy.

Given that the printed circuit boards of the RAILBOX VERTICAL series are absolutely compatible with the new RAILBOX XT series, we have completely revised the base - cover assembly system, so to grant a significant time savings during the assembly phase.

The new patented DIN rail hook system provides a single plastic part, which for the first time allows our enclosures to be hooked perpendicularly to the DIN rail, so no rotation is necessary.

The new double hook, by fixing the enclosure on both sides of the DIN rail, will remain in the released position(open) until the enclosure is positioned over the DIN rail and a mechanism will allow the automatic closure to the rail.

This new hook system will also grant a considerable time savings in the assembly phase and, unlike the previous series, it must be inserted into the base during the assembly of the printed circuit board, which will continue to be fixed to the base thanks to the usual quick-fixing system that does not require screws.

All accessories such as hinged panel, internal panel and lateral hole covers in this new XT series must be assembled after closing the enclosure with the printed circuit board and the new hook already inside.

The updated version of the spacer XT is always available. It allows the modularity in width and therefore starting from a base and a cover 22.5mm wide, offers the realization of multiple widths such as 45, 67,5mm etc.

The new version of the spacer XT will allow the quick fixing of a printed circuit board with the same dimensions as the one used in the base.

Another important innovation of this new XT series is that the individual components of the kit should be ordered separately, to give our customers maximum flexibility. The new interlocking system, designed to reduce the volume occupied by the bases or the covers inside the individual cardboard packaging and the elimination of internal separators, will save transport costs and make a greater contribution to environmental sustainability.
